The family and friends of Graham Leighton “Peevs” Peever are mourning the loss of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Graham, who was 66, was a much-loved member of the Calliope community and was remembered for his loyalty, friendship, and devotion to the people closest to him. His passing has left a significant void for those who knew him, but his family will take comfort in the many cherished memories he leaves behind.

Born on July 18, 1960, Graham was the dearly loved husband of Susan. Throughout their life together, he was a devoted partner and an important source of love and support for his family.

He was also a loving father to Leighton and Laura and their partners. As a grandfather, Graham was affectionately known as Poppy to his beloved granddaughter, Elsie, a role that brought him great joy and created treasured memories that his family will carry forward.

Graham was the son of the late Viv and Val Peever and a much-loved brother to Anne, John, and Ian. He was also a caring uncle to their families and maintained strong connections with his extended family throughout his life.

Beyond his immediate family, Graham was admired and respected by many friends. Those who knew him described him as a loyal friend whose presence and companionship were valued. His passing will be deeply felt by the many people who had the privilege of sharing part of their lives with him.
