The family and friends of John Townsley are mourning the heartbreaking loss of a much-loved partner, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. John passed away peacefully on 4th August 2026, leaving behind a deep sense of sorrow among all who knew and loved him.
John’s passing has left his family with an overwhelming feeling of loss as they come to terms with saying goodbye to someone who meant so much. Though his time with them has ended, the love, memories, and impact he created will continue to remain in the hearts of those closest to him.
John was the beloved partner of Nikita and a devoted daddy to Miley, who was the light of his life. The bond he shared with his family was one of love, care, and devotion, and he will always be remembered for the happiness and warmth he brought into their lives.
He was also a cherished son of John and Donna, a treasured brother, and a much-loved uncle. His family held a special place in his heart, and the relationships he built with those around him were a reflection of the caring and compassionate person he was.

The funeral cortege will leave John’s father’s home at 22 Grand Prix Park, Dundonald, BT16 2BD, on Saturday, 8th August 2026, at 10.45 am, followed by a funeral service at Roselawn Crematorium at 12 noon.
The family has requested no flowers please. Those wishing to make a donation in John’s memory may do so to Marie Curie, with donations payable directly to the charity.
